Curious Gaze

The Himalayas  NEPAL
Square, Aspect 1:1
Captured with Digital Camera

As I wandered through a the narrow path of a Himalayan village, I spotted this little boy. He was playing alone, focused on a piece of twisted string in his small hands. His woolen hat, perfectly knitted for the cold, sat snugly on his head, framing his intense gaze. He looked up at me, a mix of curiosity and suspicion in his expression, as though wondering what I was doing there. The harsh mountain air didn’t seem to bother him; he was tough, like the landscape that surrounded him. I couldn’t help but be drawn in by his serious look, a reflection of the resilience of the people in this remote region.

Even at his young age, he seemed to carry a quiet strength, shaped by the rugged beauty and challenges of life in the Himalayas. I took the photograph, preserving the moment and his unflinching stare.
