Captured with Digital Camera – Infrared 25 Second exposure
I enjoy experimenting with different photography techniques to create unique images of everyday scenes. This particular technique utilizes infrared light instead of visible light to capture the photo. Infrared photography produces intriguing results, with the final image often being unpredictable. It presents various challenges, requiring a different perspective than traditional photography.
In infrared, subjects that emit more infrared, such as plants and living things, appear white, while non-irradiating elements like skies, rocks, and inanimate objects appear black. Typically, an infrared image is rendered in red, but I chose to convert this image into a blue monochrome for a distinct effect.
