Displaying this image in color, with the warm autumn hues of the trees and the blue lake water, would no doubt create a beautiful scene. However, when I converted it to black and white, it added another dimension. Rather than the colors taking center stage, the image offers an unbiased view, highlighting the play of light on the tree leaves, jetty, and building, along with their reflections in the water.
