Quiet Refuge
The turquoise waters of the Dudh Koshi River wind through the valley, its icy flow carving ancient stone as pine trees stand guard along the banks. A solitary stone cabin rests between the riverbank and the mountain. A trail leads to a cabin, revealing a life harmonised with the land, far from the world’s hurry. Here time flows as slowly as the river bends, the air is filled with the scent of pine and earth. The cabin, weathered but strong, shelters against nature’s harshest elements. It serves as a refuge and a home, and to survive out here you must immerse yourself in the surroundings and become part of it to survive.
