In a narrow backstreet of Kathmandu, life moves to its own beat. Old brick buildings frame the path, and a tangled web of wires hums with quiet energy. A man climbs onto his bike while a nearby vendor adjusts his bicycle, tightening the package strapped to a rack behind his seat. Another man sits on the pavement, hands in his pockets, watching but deciding the cyclist likely doesn’t need help.
Nearby, another man stands also with hands in his pockets observes the rider with quiet interest. Two others walk toward an alleyway and seem to be in a hurry.
